WOMEN ARE ROSES

WOMEN ARE ROSES

To me, every woman is very much like a 🌹ROSE.

YOU, my friend, are a rose, all throughout your life.

And like a rose…

🌹You are a symbol of love and compassion.

🌹You epitomize the colour red representing a vibrancy of intense affection and the nurturing nature of blood.

🌹You are a scented aphrodisiac, sought after by the masses.

🌹You are protected from the roughest handling by some pointy, impressive thorny barriers.

🌹Your life, though revered in many circles, is finite, like all things of beauty in this Universe.

🌹You grow into your most vibrant self, stay brilliant for a time, spreading your magnificence all around you, then slowly wilt and fade into the earth that grew you.

This is the cycle of life.

No one is spared.

➡️Sadly, not every woman sees how truly special she is as this rose of nature and thus misses out on the GENIUS of the life she’s been granted by some uncertain force.

You are YOUnique in all the world.

Your own flower.

Your own special incarnation of a rose.

And your experience throughout all the transformative hormonal phases of your wild, wonderful life can be viewed as glorious, though peppered with all manner of emotional chaos, including your transition from vibrant beauty towards inevitable decline through time, in menopause.

It’s nature.

It’s natural.

It’s ok, my friend.

Make peace with these times of life, especially aging into years of menopause, and time will unveil a view of life that can be better than ever before.

Once you reach menopause, no longer are you mostly envied for your ruby red, petalled existence, to be there for others’ pleasure over your own.

In menopause, you GET TO be appreciated for your legacy as you learn what you’re truly capable of now that you are your own centre of attention.

🌹I love that I get to be in post-menopause. My wilting and slow decline are inevitable, I know, but I’ve had to walk through the big feelings that come with this time of big changes that I can’t completely prevent. I do the work to preserve my vitality a little longer through nourishment, sunlight, breathing, movement, water and self love, but I am very aware my time is felt differently today than it once was.

I’m still a lovely rose though, even if a little worn, and my thorns now keep me upright versus solely for protection before. And I still value the history I have and the present self I still am and the present I am in, with visions of still being present in the future for at least another little while.

Embrace being a rose.

🌹Like me, you’re also a woman of greatness, specialness, YOUniqueness, intensity, vibrancy, sadness, compassion, creation, and peaceful beingness.

Be that always, regardless of the changes your body endures.

You’re a rose with a lifespan not completely known, and embracing that uncertainty can bring you a freedom to just go with the flow of nature’s whims as you’re internalizing your part as nature herself.

I believe menopause is GENIUS. It is set up by your biology as a portal to a more accurate understanding of yourself without the need to impress anymore now driving the game.

Remember all this… and thank your body for all the phases of life, including menopause.

Hugs,
